BY ROAD
Driving on the Trans Caprivi between Rundu and Victoria Falls, you will cross the village of Kongola (four hundred kilometer east of Rundu and one hundred kilometer west of Katima Mulilo) , where you are going to turn towards the South. Twenty five kilometres further down, you will find a signpost marked “Camp Kwando” where you will turn right for another three kilometers. You have arrived to destination ! |

BY PLANE
The camp's airstrip is that of Namushasha, only ten minutes away from Kwando.
Coordinates are S 17° 59' - E 023° 17', elevation is 3180 feet. The runway is more than 1100 meters long.
Orientation is 11/29 and please note that due to obstacles, there is one single approach pattern (runway 11) and one for departure (runway 29).
For transportation, call the lodge on 124.80, and should there be no answer, fly over the lodge on the river side. (S 18° 02' E 023° 19') |
